the school will always listen, but if you need to report a concern about a child outside school

Taking concerns seriously
We take our responsibility to protect children from harm, danger and abuse VERY seriously. This
includes our commitment to staff training, our work with the children, our referrals to Social care
should they be required, our Governors work and our ongoing support to families, foster carers,
specials guardians and extended family carers.

We update our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy every year in September.
Training
- Staff have just completed their two yearly Safeguarding training.
- The Headteacher (July 2022) and Deputy Safeguarding Lead (Oct 2023) have both
completed their Safeguarding Training. - All our staff and governors have read Part 1, Keeping Children Safe in Education September
2024.
Record Keeping
We keep careful record of events as and when they arise.
Pupil Support
To support children practically we have:
- Weekly Circle Time
- Weekly PSHE work
- Road Safety weeks
- Mental Health Week
We take part in the National E-Safety Weeks and Anti-Bullying Weeks. Our Behaviour Policy and Anti-Bullying Policy help support the safeguarding of the children.
