Computing
At Chalton Lower School we use the Purple Mash Scheme of Work to teach the children computing. Computers are also used as a tool in the process of learning in subjects across the curriculum. Younger children are taught to word process, draw, store and interpret data. Older children enrich their learning with materials which they access through the internet. The children have access to the Chalton Virtual Learning Environment and are all issued with their own passwords which they keep safe. Our E-Safety Policy reflects how the children will use this resource and the internet safely. They also use ICT to store and edit their work.
